Dr. Sanjay Kumar Manjul is the Additional Director General of the Archaeological Survey of India. He has made significant contributions to Indian Archaeology, leading excavations in Rakhigarhi, Binjor, Barnawa, Sinauli, and Baghpat. The Sinauli findings, including the earliest known chariot, were highlighted as the "Discovery of the Century" at the National Museum of Modern Art, New Delhi. Dr. Manjul discusses indigenous techniques and the development of Indian urban society from the Early Harappan phase to the Late Harappan phase.

He explores new excavation techniques, the Indus settlement, and his perspective on the Mahabharata in an archaeological context. Dr Manjul delves into how culture, tradition, and belief systems impact cultural amalgamation and affinity towards the Mahabharata. He narrates the discovery of Sinauli, emphasizing the indigenous chariot's significance. He also touches upon conflicts between political and traditional scholars, critiques modified theories of Western scholars on Indian history. He also discusses the so called discredited Aryan invasion theory, contemporary civilization changes, surveys, and mythology. Bharat is the ancient civilization and today's sanatan dharma is a continuation of that civilization. Mahabharat and Ramayan are part of the history.

With discoveries like Dholavira, Rakhigarhi and Sinauli, it's time for history to be re-wtitten and re-told from Indian perspective.
